The FiiO CP13 is designed with an all-analog audio circuit, ensuring you experience the authentic sound of cassette tapes. From the magnetic tape head to signal amplification, the CP13 maintains a completely analog pathway, avoiding digital interference and preserving the classic sound quality.
Powered by a robust 4.2V power supply, significantly higher than the typical 1.8V or 3V found in most portable cassette players, the CP13 ensures stable tape movement. This high voltage, paired with a custom motor speed stabilization circuit, prevents pitch variations and easily handles various cassette types.
FiiO has implemented a differential circuit to enhance sound quality for balanced signal acquisition, providing more stable transmission, a higher signal-to-noise ratio, and reduced distortion. This is a significant upgrade over the single-ended signal acquisition found in many other players.
Despite the inherent size constraints, FiiO has kept the CP13 compact at just 31.8mm thick, making it thinner and more portable than many other cassette players on the market.
The CP13 uses a rechargeable lithium battery, charged via a USB Type-C port. This modern power solution is lighter than traditional AA batteries and provides up to 13 hours of playback on a single charge.
